Recap of our Cross Country Trip

Left Kingston: 1 June 2010
Returned to Kingston: 26 August 2010
87 days on the road
22,219 kilometers

A wonderful trip that we'll never forget and that you would all enjoy if you would take the time!

Thank you for joining us on our incredible journey!

Marie & Glenn
After leaving Wall Drug Store on 18 August, we had lunch with my sister and her husband in Murdo, SD where we parted ways. They headed East to Minneapolis on I-90 and we headed North to Brandon on I-83 to revisit Glenn's sister. We both finished our trip on our own and really missed to have them with us.

Drove to Bismarck and Minot, ND on our way to Brandon.

Left Brandon on 23 August and drove East around Lake Superior. Very beautiful drive!

This was a fun place to see, although we did not buy anything.

Wall Drug is the principal industry in the town of Wall. It's a sprawling tourist mall that occupies most of downtown and employs nearly a third of its population. Over a million people stop at Wall Drug every year -- 20,000 on a good summer day. Hundreds of billboards line the east-west approaches along Interstate 90 in South Dakota, tantalizing travelers with offers of five cent coffee and free ice water!

Population of Wall, SD is 818.
